My Intro

Let The Walls Of Insanity Fall Down From Around Me,
Everyday Im around People With Multiple Personalities,
It Seems Like Common Sense Is Becoming A Common Casualty,
and Less People Focus On Using Their Intellectual Faculties,
Im Tired Of This,
the government Just Keeps On Building Up This Misery,
All the while trying to erase the Blackman from history,
But even if they result to annihilation I will live on thru this poetry,
Silly rabbits you can kill my flesh but you cant kill energy,
This is sin city and the only color I can see is free,
Stop sellin my people false dreams that they cant return ;no warranty,
And I know those who love the American dream will tend to disagree,
And I say to them life is more than a nice car a house and a college degree,
Especially after all that we still got college girls callin they self barbies,
And stupid niggas chassin that animated booty,
Ugh…
It just stresses me out,so on nice spring nights,
I still burn incense and reminiscence,
On the times where all this nonsense was irrelevant,
Or maybe I was just to young to understand it,
Never new that my life was a master plan;my mom just birth it,
Into existence,
now I am forced to coexist with those who choose the path of least resistance
why are you scared of evolution?
This society aint getting no better,
and the dollar is steadily declining…
people are still dying…
there are whirl winds….of negative spirits,
that lock down and shut the gates to your cognitive capabilities,
you no longer desire freedom you desire material things,
and i…I represent the truth,
so lemme guess you hate me,
because I am different,
Isn’t this same story somewhere in the scriptures,
Let the truth rise from the depths of the ashes of hate,
Let righteousness climb over these walls of greed,
Take heed,

This is Poetry.

"Get Stronger

You may ask how do we ''Get Stronger".

We all need strength in some way or another. It could be that we just don't want to talk about whatever we are going through, or maybe we feel no one around us can understand. I face different situations everyday and I

understand how you feel my friend. I would tell myself all the time "You got to be strong." or "Get Stronger". Hence the phrase "Get Stronger". I feel there are things going on that need to be addressed and someone needs to address them and keep it real, this is how I discovered a gift called poetry. Every time I get stronger through poetry others can be enlighten and sometimes are helped and get stronger through listening to me. Through educating myself, I allow myself to learn from the situations I encounter, then I am able to help others who are facing hard times.

When I say ''Get Stronger'' this is in no way meant to be offensive. I am referring to mental strength. For example, I am sitting on my back patio and I see the grass, and I have come to realize, no matter how many times I come with my lawn mower blade and cut this grass, it seems to grow back every time. It may take four days, it may take a week or maybe even a year but the point is it grows back no matter how many times I cut it down. Now consider the following, If we take the above analogy and think of our lives as grass and expect the fact that we will get chopped and cut down throughout this journey called life, and as long as we keep growing and rising to the occasion, then whatever is opposing us (The Lawnmowers of life) will run out of gas sooner or later. We will not because we have the will to rise and grow when we get cut down and stepped on. We as a people would be an unstoppable force if we understood things of this nature.

In the above analogy we must first except three facts; one, we must recognize that in this day and time mental strength is very important, two; We will get chopped down and cut in our lives, and finally we will grow no matter what comes and cuts, chops or be little's us. The understanding of these facts could help us understand life just a little better. After having this epiphany on my back porch I felt a little bit "Stronger".
